3 Most Romantic Holiday Movies

It is finally that time of year to drink hot cocoa, wear fuzzy socks and watch the most heart wrenching holiday flicks that always make you tear up. What's the holiday season without holiday rom coms anyways? From classics to cheesy hallmarks, there isn't a shortage of options for you to choose from. Here are what we think are the 4 most romantic holiday movies that will definitely get you into the holiday spirit.

Love Actually (2003)
This rom com is probably the most romantic movie of all time. You will laugh and you will cry with the characters. It follows the love lives of 9 intertwined couples during the holidays and stars celebrities like Hugh Grant, Emma Thompson, Colin Firth, and more. The great debate is whether the cue cards scene with Keira Knightley is creepy or romantic. But there’s no questioning that the Hugh Grant dance scene is the best scene in the film.

The Holiday (2006)
Cameron Diaz and Kate Winslet star in this film as two women who are done with the men in their lives and need a break and decided to switch houses for the holidays. This movie was made years before Airbnb too! Like any rom com, both women end up finding love when they did not want it at all. What makes this movie so great is how relatable Kate Winslet’s character is and oh, Jude Law of course.

Serendipity (2001)
John Cusack and Kate Beckinsale star in this adorable flick about fate and romance in New York City. They meet when fighting over the last available Christmas gift at Bloomingdale’s and spend the rest of the night together. Sharing dessert, ice skating, and falling in love. They leave it up to fate to see if they should meet again and well, I’m guessing you know what eventually happens.
